Extended Family Beach Photographer

Extended Family Beach Photographer – Treasure Island Florida Family Photographer

I really do love being a Treasure Island, Florida family photographer. I’m so thankful to be able to meet so many amazing families. With a large majority of my inquiries lately being for an extended family beach photographer, I thought it was time to post a blog on the subject!

I have so much experience as an extended family beach photographer that I wanted to share this session along some of my favorite tips! There are so many different ways to spend your time during an extended family session. The group shot, each family unit, the grandparents and grand babies, couples, and even some unique moments.

Tips from a Treasure Island, Florida Family Photographer

I always advise to start with the group shot or any other groupings that include your littlest family members. These can be some of the more difficult photos to achieve with larger groups. It can take a few minutes to set up the shot, and we never know how long those sweet little smiles will last! Then we can move through all your different family groupings. I always ensure that every member of the family gets the photos they are hoping for with this type of session.

This specific client reached out looking for an extended family beach photographer who could also capture a very special surprise. They booked a family vacation and he realized that this could also be the perfect time to pop the question! I mean, who wouldn’t want to be proposed to while you’re on the beach with all of your loved ones? And don’t forget, a super cool Treasure Island, Florida family photographer. I absolutely love helping to capture moments like these! I could not wait to be a part of it!

Planning a special surprise with your extended family beach photographer

Before the session we covered all the details like the code word I would use when it was perfect timing for him to pop the question. We started out with all the usual photos you would want from your extended family beach photographer. (Not just for the beautiful photos, but to assure the future fiancé that there was nothing odd about this session at all, ha-ha). This wasn’t only a gorgeous proposal on the beach. It was also an intimate moment for all of their closest family to take part in. There were smiles, tears, and lots of joy as we all enjoyed the sunset.
